March 16-17 was significant with holding a Horizon 2020 National Contact Points (NCP) training of the EaP Panel on Research and Innovation. NCPs of Eastern Partnership countries were invited to attend the meeting.
The event was organized jointly by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the DG Research and Innovation, EC. Coordinators of the IncoNet EaP Project (FP7) and of the RI-LINKS2UA Project (H2020), in cooperation with NCPs from France, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Sweden, had their experience shared at the Training.
The Training was aimed at the exchange of best practices for the establishment of an effective network of NCPs in the Eastern Partnership countries, as well as it worked as a platform for improvement of professional skills of NCPs. It was designed to familiarize participants with the work program for 2016-2017; proposal writing, project management and implementation, and evaluation of H2020 projects. Overview of the H2020 participation statistics was addressed also.
The Republic of Armenia was represented by Tigran Arzumanyan, H2020 Armenia NCP Coordinator, Seyran Kocharyan, NCP on Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing, David Pipoyan, NCP on Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy, Hrachya Astsatryan, NCP on European Research Infrastructures, Paitsar Mantashyan, NCP on Nanotechnologies, advanced materials and advanced manufacturing and processing, Ani Khandamiryan, SMEs/Access to Risk Finance, Anahit Khachikyan, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
