On 30 September, 2016 the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia held Training on EU HORIZON 2020 and Innovation open to the researchers, SMEs and other stakeholders.

The training covered new opportunities of participation in EU H2020 and SME programs in view of Association of Armenia to H2020, as well as assistance for technology transfer and innovation via Enterprise Europe Network and other ongoing EU supported projects via Enterprise Europe Network and EU FP7 INNOVER-EAST project in cooperation with East Invest 2 project.

The training included such issues as what is HORIZON 2020 in general, kind of activities and funding, how to participate, search targeted calls, search for partners, submission of the proposals, registration and validation of enterprises, preparation and submission of project proposals etc.. So it was a great opportunity to get involved in the Project to support SMEs and Innovation in Armenia.

The scientific representative staff of Yerevan State Medical University demonstrated its active participation during this training.
