YSMU Interns report
In compliance with the requirements of YSMU internship regulations, annual analyses of clinical cases are to be submitted to specialized committees. Each analysis is conducted with the support of a supervisor. The best samples are shortlisted to be reported at the conference. This time 12 interns were given the opportunity to present the most noticeable cases.
At the beginning of the conference YSMU Vice-Rector for Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education Mher Bisharyan greeted the participants and guests of the scientific meeting.
Cardiovascular diseases are considered to be the most widespread with the highest rate for mortality. Hence, reports dedicated to this theme launched the conference. The reports were made by YSMU interns A. Khachatryan, A. Topchyan, A. Goroyan and A. Azaryan.
The audience was also highly interested in the following reports: M. Sardar «Large B-cell Lymphoma», S. Vlasyan «Chronic Calculous Cholecystitis at acute stage», G. Gasparyan «Transitional Cell Bladder Cancer, gross hematuria in combination with secondary diabetes».
Internship doctors from University Dental outpatient clinic №2 F. Bonab, P. Purshaban and L. Hovhannisyan introduced staged presentation of their work.
Afterwards, internship pharmacologist from University clinical hospital №1 M. Martirosyan made an eminent report on the analyses of the pharmacy staff management of the process of patient the self-treatment».
