Being founded in 1930, the University library now comprises over 519081 pieces of literature acquired through extensive donations and purchases as well as currently received journals being multilingual including but not limited to Armenian, Russian, English, French and Arabic.

Nowadays the library is enrolled in the workings of the comprehensive project called Armenian Unified Library together with other 15 Armenian libraries. This project enables the realization of the electronic databases.

Using our library

The library is open to all University staff and students.

University staff: allowance of the material - duration 1 month only.

Students: allowance according to the academic curriculum up to the end of a particular discipline.

Only in the reading-hall you can use:

  • a book represented in one sample,
  • informational publications,
  • PhD theses,
  • periodicals and journals,
  • rare books.

Students and faculty of other state universities as well as other institutions’ staff can use the library materials only in the reading-hall representing a written notice by the University vice-rector for academic affairs.
